What is pregnancy & postpartum support?

Pregnant and postpartum is one of the most vulnerable transitions you will experience. It is really important that you are prepared physically as well as mentally and emotionally for what this experience will be for you. Research shows that moms can struggle with postpartum depression at any time during the first year after giving birth (Dagher et al., 2020).

Even if you aren't diagnosed with a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD), transitioning into motherhood is hard. Prenatal and postpartum support provides you with the continuation of  specialized care for your mind.  The reality is that you deserve to have someone there who can provide a judgment free zone to have honest conversations about motherhood.
